ClaimHelper

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClaimHelper, available at getmyyes.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What ClaimHelper is — and is not

ClaimHelper is a document drafting assistant. It uses AI to help you prepare appeal paperwork from a health-insurance denial you upload. It is not a law firm, insurance company, healthcare provider, or claims representative, and it does not provide medical, legal, or insurance advice, decide medical necessity, or represent you before any insurer or regulator.

AI-generated documents can contain errors, omissions, or statements that do not fit your situation. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving every document before sending it, and for confirming all deadlines directly with your insurer. There is no guarantee that any appeal will be approved.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States (the Service supports U.S. health plans only at launch). You may only upload documents that relate to you or to a person you are legally authorized to act for.

3. Your account

You can explore the Service as a guest; purchases and saved cases require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Guest (unsaved) uploads are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

4. Purchases, pricing & refunds

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload documents you have no right to use; use the Service to commit insurance fraud or to misrepresent facts to an insurer; probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; use the Service to build a competing dataset; or upload malicious content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content & our license

You own the documents you upload and the information in them. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service (extraction, drafting, storage, export). Generated documents are yours to use for your own appeal. We do not use your documents or generated packets to train AI models.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, including health-related information in your documents. ClaimHelper is a consumer self-help tool and is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate; HIPAA generally does not apply to the copies of records you upload yourself.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party processors — Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, storage, database), OpenAI (AI drafting, with retention disabled for API requests), and Stripe (payments). Their availability affects the Service; their processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DOCUMENTS ARE ERROR-FREE, THAT DEADLINES SHOWN ARE CORRECT, OR THAT ANY APPEAL WILL SUCCEED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE CASE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR $39 IF YOU PAID NOTHING). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING MISSED APPEAL DEADLINES, DENIED CLAIMS, OR LOST BENEFITS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Sections 6–10 survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live. Questions or disputes: support@getmyyes.com — we'll try to resolve issues informally first.
